5-Year-Old Struck By Car In Mpls.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A five-year-old boy was struck and injured by a vehicle in south Minneapolis.

According to Minneapolis Police, they received a call at 6:57 p.m. that the boy was hit near the intersection of East 26th Street and 11th Avenue South. Firefighters and EMTs also responded to the call.

CPR was being performed on the child when the ambulance arrived. He was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center.

His condition has not been released.

The driver who struck the child stopped after the accident and is cooperating with police.
