Obermueller Trails Kline In Cash In 2nd District
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Democrat Mike Obermueller has less to spend than Republican Rep. John Kline heading into the final stretch of their campaign in Minnesota's 2nd District.
Obermueller's campaign reported Monday that he had $370,000 in the bank at the start of October, compared with $1.4 million for Kline.
Obermueller raised $276,000 from late July through the end of September — nearly the same amount that Kline brought in.
The district covers the southern Twin Cities suburbs and towns including Wabasha and Northfield.
