Mpls. Police Seek Public Help Locating 85-Year-Old Man

UPDATE: Missing Minneapolis Man With Alzheimer's Found Safe

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- An 85-year-old man with Alzheimer's is missing after he left his house early Wednesday morning and did not return. Now, Minneapolis Police are asking for the public's help in locating him.

At approximately, 6:30 a.m., Robert Dennis Olson left his home on the 5200 block of 35th Avenue South on his way to the area of 47th Street East and Hiawatha Avenue South, but did not return.

Olson is described as a white male, 5-foot-10 with a medium build. He was last seen driving a 2003 Mercury Sable with the Minnesota plate 580-DPR.

Anyone who knows or might know the whereabouts of Olson is urged to contact the Minneapolis Police Department by calling 911.
