Missing Minneapolis Man With Alzheimer's Found Safe

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities say an 85-year-old man with Alzheimer's Disease who went missing Wednesday has been found safe.

Police said Robert Dennis Olson left his south Minneapolis home on the 5200 block of 35th Avenue South at about 6:30 a.m. Wednesday. He was on his way to the area of 47th Street East and Hiawatha Avenue South, but never came home.

Authorities said Olson was found safe late Wednesday night by police in Clear Lake, South Dakota. Police say he is now home.
