Teen Charged For Murder After Body Was Found In Burning Home

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A teen faces murder charges in connection with the death of a man whose body was found last week in a burning north Minneapolis house, authorities say.

The Hennepin County Attorney's Office says 18-year-old Jamil Joshua Eason faces second-degree murder charges stemming from a Nov. 2 incident where firefighters knocked down flames at a home on 3838 Humboldt Ave. North.

Inside the home, firefighters found 45-year-old Jay Arthur Rosio face down on the floor.

A cell phone and computer taken from the home led authorities to arrest Eason, the attorney's office said.
