MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Kysten Zierke threw two touchdown passes and Blue Earth Area pulled away to beat Rochester Lourdes 30-7 in the Class 3A Championship Saturday in the Prep Bowl.
David Franta had 144 rushing yards and threw two touchdowns for the second-ranked Buccaneers (13-0), who claimed their first title.

With the game tied at 7-7, Zierke and Isaac Darrington hooked up on a 6-yard score with 15 seconds left in the first half. After Felix Harseim added a 36-yard field goal, Darrington caught a 10-yard touchdown pass for a 23-7 Buccaneers lead.
