Minn. Duluth Rolls Over Michigan Tech 7-3

HOUGHTON, Mich. (AP) — Minnesota-Duluth scored the first four goals in the first period and the last three in the third to beat Michigan Tech 7-3 in men's college hockey.

Austin Farley had two goals and one assist for Minnesota-Duluth in Friday's Western Collegiate Hockey Association matchup. Caleb Herbert and Justin Crandall each had a goal and two assists for the Bulldogs (4-7-2, 2-5-2).

UMD improved to 8-1-1 in its last 10 games against the Huskies (4-7-0, 3-6-0).

Mike Seidel had a goal and an assist. He's scored in 12 of the Bulldogs' 13 games.

Matt McNeely had 27 saves, nine in each period.

Tanner Kero, Blake Hietala and David Johnstone scored for the Huskies.

MTU goalie Kevin Genoe gave up four goals on the first 12 shots he faced and was replaced. Pheonix Copley had 20 saves.
