Denver Rallies Past Minn. Duluth 4-3

DULUTH, Minn. (AP) — Denver scored three goals in a minute and a half of the third period to beat Minnesota-Duluth 4-3 Saturday.

The Pioneers trailed 3-1 after two periods in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association game, but Shawn Ostrow's goal at 13:40 started their comeback.

Chris Knowlton tied it at 14:15 and Nolan Zajac got the game-winner on the power play at 15:11.

Ostrow had two goals and Zajac added an assist for Denver (15-8-4, 10-6-4).

Tony Cameranesi's goal late in the second period gave UMD (10-13-3, 8-9-3) a 3-1 lead. Cameranesi added an assist and Caleb Herbert had a goal and assist.

Denver goalie Juho Olkinuora made 30 saves and UMD's Matt McNeely had 20.

UMB was 2-for-7 on the power play.
