New Prague High School Back In Session After Bomb Threat

NEW PRAGUE, Minn. (WCCO) – New Prague High School is back in session Thursday morning after the building had to be evacuated due to a bomb threat,  according to the school district's web site.

Officials said on the district web site that a note was found in one of the bathrooms at the high school stating that were was a bomb in the building. All students and staff at the school were evacuated and sent to the New Prague Ice Arena and Gymnastics Center as a precaution. Authorities canvassed the school and have determined that the building is safe and has been cleared.

Classes have resumed as students and staff have been allowed to go back to the building. Authorities are investigating the threat.

New Prague is located about an hour south and west of the Twin Cities.
