1 In Custody After Head-On Crash In Cass County
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities say one person was hospitalized and another was taken into custody after a head-on crash caused injuries in Cass County Monday night.
Authorities responded to the crash at about 9:25 p.m. near the Agency Bay Resort on Onigum Road near Walker. When authorities arrived, a female passenger had been ejected from a vehicle and was transported to a Fargo hospital. The driver of that vehicle was treated at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle, 28-year-old Jeremiah Hess of Walker, was taken into custody and is awaiting formal charges. Authorities didn't say what the nature of those charges are, and the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
The Walker Police Department is being assisted by the Cass County Sheriff's Office and the Minnesota State Patrol with the investigation.
