Donnie Smith Bike Show Roars In To River Centre

ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) - Snow is still on the ground in much of St. Paul, but that's not stopping motorcycle enthusiasts from prepping for the first ride of the season.

The 26th Annual Donnie Smith Custom Bike Show has taken over the St. Paul River Centre. Bikers gather to see hundreds of motorcycle models and check out the latest in gear and trends.

It also features a swap meet where you can get great deals on motorcycle parts.

Sue Stang of the Donnie Smith Bike Show says the event is a reunion of sorts for area bike lovers.

"This is like the spring kickoff for all the bikers around, especially the Twin Cities area. This is where you get together and all your friends you haven't seen all winter and everything," Stang said. "They come together, it's a huge reunion."

The bike show runs Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $14.
