3 Found Dead In St. Paul Possible Murder-Suicide

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police made a grim discovery after three adults were found dead in their Midway apartment. Investigators say they died in front of four young children.

It was just after 4:30 Sunday afternoon, when a person living inside an apartment complex in the 500 block of Victoria Street North called 911 to report a dispute.

Police would not say how the three were killed, but did say they are not looking for a suspect.

Laurel Hilden, who has lived in nearby for over 23 years, was not home when the report was made and police responded. He watched police work from the bar across the street.

"I just came here because I couldn't get any closer," he said.

Hilden says he doesn't know the name of the man who lives in the basement apartment, but on this night his heart goes out to his family.

"He's got a family. There is elderly lady living with him and four children," said Hilden.

Police say four children, ages 3 to 9, were inside the apartment at the time of the incident. They are now safe.

According to St. Paul Police, one of the deceased men and woman were, married. The other man was a relative of the female.

Police are not releasing the names of the victims until their investigation is complete.

Police are using a Hmong interpreter to question the survivors.
