High School Students Compete For Best Robot At U Of M
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- About 120 High School teams are competing at the University of Minnesota and the star of each team is a robot weighing up to 150 pounds.
The remote-control machines have to put flying discs into a goal to score points. Bonus points are earned if the robot can hoist itself off the floor on these metal pyramids.
Thursday was used for practice and the competition begins Friday. The championship match is Saturday.
