Mall Of America Peeps Store Buzzing Before Easter
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- When you think of Easter candy one of the first thing that comes to mind for many of us is Peeps.
We stopped by the Peeps store in the Mall of America this week, where they are having one of their busiest weeks as you can imagine. The sugar-coated marsh mellow candy is celebrating its 60th year and is expected to churn out more than one billion Peeps this Easter alone.
The candy is known for its versatility. Some people like to eat them fresh, frozen, microwaved or even a little stale. And they aren't just for eating. Some people would rather play with them.
Each Easter the Pioneer Press has it's Diorama Contest, where people submit photos or videos of their Peeps creations.
