MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – One of the most athletic players in recent memory at the University of Minnesota will get one more chance to show off his skill on a national stage.

Rodney Williams, whose college career with the Gophers ended in a third round NCAA Tournament loss to Florida, will compete over Final Four weekend in the College Slam Dunk Contest. The event will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 4, at McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta, Ga. It will be televised nationally on ESPN.

Williams has 164 career dunks with the Gophers. He's best known for his high-flying ability and dunks that bring the crowd to its feet. The winner will be determined from a combination of judging panel and fan voting on Twitter.
