Road Closed In Wayzata To Repair Water Main Break

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – One of the busier roads west of the Twin Cities metro will be closed for most of Monday so crews can work to repair a broken water main.

Officials in Hennepin County closed a two-mile stretch of County Road 101 in Wayzata. It's along the northeastern edge of Lake Minnetonka from McGinty Road to Minnetonka Boulevard.

Officials did not say how long the road will be closed, but the hopes are all the repair work on the water main will be done in time to open County Road 101 for the evening commute.
