Several Displaced After Fire On Lake Street

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Several people are out of a home, after a building that houses several businesses and apartment units started on fire.

It started around 6:30 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of East Lake Street in Minneapolis.

A passerby noticed smoke coming out of the building and alerted fire officials.

Some of the residents had to be woken up and rushed from the building but no one was hurt.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
