Police: 4 In Custody After Cab Driver Robbed In St. Cloud

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities said four people were taken into custody early Wednesday morning after an apparent armed robbery of a cab driver in St. Cloud.

Police said the incident happened early Wednesday on the 2100 block of 8th Street North. A cab driver told police he was called there for a pick up, and two suspects then pointed a gun at the driver and demanded money. The suspects then fled the scene on food.

Authorities later tracked them to a residence in Sartell, where three juveniles and one adult were taken into custody. Police said 19-year-old Treyvon Romeo Dudley is being held at the Stearns Count Jail in suspicion of aggravated robbery. A 14-year-old girl from Sartell, a 17-year-old and 14-year-old boy, both from St. Cloud, are at a juvenile facility on charges of aggravated robbery.

The cab driver, a 56-year-old man, was not hurt in the incident. Authorities said the incident is under investigation.
