Report: Bus Driver Assaulted 1st Grade Student

CLOQUET, Minn. (WCCO) -- Cloquet authorities are investigating a report that a bus driver assaulted a first-grade student on Thursday.

Cloquet police and the school district are investigating and taking statements from the victim, a student at Churchill elementary, and other witnesses. The child didn't require any medical attention, and the bus driver has since been dismissed.

After the investigation, the case will be forwarded to the city attorney for possible charges.
