7 Seriously Injured In Fridley Car Rollover

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A car rollover in Fridley has injured seven passengers, including a 4-year-old boy, early Saturday evening.

According to Lt. Eric Roeske of the Minnesota State Patrol, a Ford Explorer rolled over on southbound University Avenue, just north of I-694 at 5:20 p.m.

Of the seven passengers in the SUV, six were not wearing their seatbelts and were ejected.

The passengers include the following: 35-year-old Jennifer Teetzel of Minneapolis, 17-year-old Marissa Paulson of Savage, 16-year-old Cache Brown of Brooklyn Park, 15-year-old Delicia Davis, 18-year-old Jonquell Allen, 47-year-old Shelly LaBarre of St. Paul and 4-year-old Omar Mohammed.

Teetzel was driving the vehicle. She is currently in critical condition.

Mohammed is also in critical condition.

Paulson and Brown are both in serious condition.

LaBarre is in fair condition.
