Wolves Waive Injury-Riddled Brandon Roy

The Timberwolves waived guard Brandon Roy on Friday, after taking a chance on the veteran guard and his wobbly knees back on July 31, 2012.

Roy appeared in just five games for the Timberwolves, but his previous knee injuries limited his playing time as he averaged just 5.8 points and 24.4 minutes per contest.
