Wildfire Forces Wis. Douglas County Evacuations
TOWN OF GORDON, Wis. (AP) — Authorities are ordering an evacuation of Barnes Township in northwestern Wisconsin because of a rapidly growing wildfire.
Douglas and Bayfield County Emergency Management says an immediate evacuation has been ordered for everything west of County Highway A and north of County Highway N.
The evacuation order was posted on the website of the National Weather Service in Duluth, Minn.
