Body Pulled From Mississippi River In St. Paul

ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- Police are investigating after the St. Paul Fire Department pulled a body from the Mississippi River at the Ford Dam in St. Paul.

According to authorities, someone spotted the body at 8 a.m. on Tuesday. Responding crews were able to reach the body from land and did not have to launch a boat.

The body has not yet been identified, authorities said.

The Ramsey County Medical Examiner will release the person's identity.
