MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities said Tuesday they've identified the motorcyclist who was hit and killed by a limo bus earlier this month in Minneapolis.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner identified the man as 30-year-old Patrick Cole Buxbaum.

Police were called to the area of West 27th Street and Emerson Avenue South at about 3:04 a.m. on May 19 about the accident. Buxbaum was headed westbound on 27th Street when his motorcycle hit the rear driver-side of a limo bus. The bus was headed south on Emerson.

Buxbaum was pronounced dead at the scene. The medical examiner said he died of multiple blunt force injuries. The limo bus did have people on it at the time of the incident, but authorities said nobody was hurt.

Minneapolis Police are still investigating the crash.
