Boy In Medically Induced Coma After Van Goes Into Chippewa River
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 3-year-old boy is in a medically-induced coma at a Rochester hospital after being rescued from the Chippewa River in Wisconsin.
Logan Buchli was in a van that got pulled in by the strong current at a boat landing Saturday near the Lake Hallie Sportsman's Club.
The boy's uncle pulled out Logan's sister. But people had to use a rock to shatter the rear window to pull Logan out.
A bystander performed CPR on Logan until police arrived.
Logan's family says he is still in a coma, but responding to treatment.
