Man Pleads Guilty To Vehicular Homicide In Cousins' Deaths

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 21-year-old St. Paul man has pleaded guilty to two counts of criminal vehicular homicide in the February deaths of two of his cousins.

Teng Vang pleaded guilty to the charges on Tuesday. He is slated to be sentenced on Aug. 12, 2013.

The charges stem from a Feb. 15 crash that killed 29-year-old Tue Vu and 28-year-old Chue Vu. It happened in the early morning hours, after Vang told police he had five beers at Moonshine Saloon.

Tue Vu, a father-to-be, and Chue Vu, a father of four, both suffered severe head trauma and were unrecognizable to authorities. Another person in the car, a friend, was injured and was treated at a local hospital.
