Surly Releases Renderings Of New Destination Brewery

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Surly fans, rejoice! We're getting the first look at the new destination brewery.

Surly Brewing Co. and HGA Architects unveiled the images Sunday night at the brewery's seventh anniversary party at the Varsity Theater in Minneapolis.

The $20 million brewery is planned for a location near University Avenue, on the border between Minneapolis and St. Paul.

In April, Surly bought 8.3 acres on Malcolm Avenue and 5th Street Southeast. They estimate they could be brewing there by 2014.

The photos and renderings that were released show the beer hall, beer garden and brewery.

Below are the images that were released by HGA Sunday night.
