2 MN Contestants On New 'Big Brother' Season

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The 15th season of "Big Brother" debuts Wednesday evening on WCCO with two new twists and two contestants from Minnesota.

Those two contestants are Kaitlin Barnaby, a bartender from Minneapolis, and McCrae Olson, a pizza delivery boy from Oak Grove.

"Big Brother" will have three people up for elimination every week, instead of just two, which is a change.

Also, host Julie Chen told WCCO-TV that America will get to vote for an MVP every week, and that person will find out in secret, because they get special powers that will be revealed on this week's episode.

"I'm curious to see how America votes," Chen said. "Are you going to vote for someone who's actually a good player, because you respect their game play? Or are you going to vote for person who you like because you think they're good looking? Or America's sweetheart?"

The show airs on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
