Dari-ette Named Among Top 11 Drive-Ins In U.S.
ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- An old spot to get classic Italian food in the Twin Cities is now being named one of the best drive-ins in the country.
The Dari-ette in St. Paul has been named one of the top 11 by Thrillist.com.
The 1950's-style diner has boasted an affordable menu of pizza burgers, meatball sandwiches, spaghetti, and homemade sauce by the pint.
The drive-in also got a little ribbing from the website when it pointed out the drive-in is "not exactly ... open in the winter, because Minnesota."
The Dari-ette has gotten its fair share of attention before. It was also recently featured on the Food Network show "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives."
