Aquatennial Paddleboard Race Benefits Local Homeless Youth
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- All this week, WCCO This Morning has been highlighting some of the cool events that surround the Minneapolis Aquatennial.
The WCCO Morning Show team thought they should practice for this Saturday's Stand Up For Avenues Paddle Board Race.
The race is for a good cause, benefiting the organization Avenues for Homeless Youth.
But, even with good intentions, one of the morning team still ended up all wet. Click above to see who.
The Stand Up For Avenues Paddle Board Race is this Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until noon at Lake Calhoun.
Also, the Aquatennial Torchlight Parade is on Wednesday evening. The parade goes down Hennepin Avenue in downtown Minneapolis from Dunwoody to 5th Street starting at 8:30 p.m.
Jason DeRusha and Jamie Yuccas will be the grand marshals.
