1 Wounded, 1 Arrested After Stabbing In Grocery Store

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 28-year-old man is in jail after allegedly stabbing another man Wednesday in a northern Minnesota grocery store.

Authorities say police and the Aitkin County Sheriff's Office responded to the stabbing, which happened at around 11:20 a.m. at Paulbeck's County Market on 171 Red Oak Drive.

The suspect, Duane Thomas Mizner, fled the scene, but officers arrested him soon after.

The victim, a 27-year-old man whom police did not identify, was taken to a local hospital, treated and then let go.

Authorities declined to give details on the circumstances surrounding the stabbing.
