ST. CLOUD, Minn. (WCCO) -- Having a tough time finding a feline?

This weekend's your lucky break as the Tri-County Humane Society in St. Cloud, Minn., said it needs to make room for an overabundance of cats.

The shelter's 32 cages are full, and another 16 cages are needed for adoptable felines in need of a transition out of the treatment rooms. The sale aims to ensure no cats are euthanized simply due to a lack of space.

Beginning Friday and ending Sunday all cats ages six months and older are free. Those under a half-year old are $50, as they're usually $150. All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and micro-chipped. Financial donations are welcome.

Hours are noon to 8 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
