'Dakota Street Fest' Hosted By Dakota Jazz ClubBy Cole Premo

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Free musical performances (and other attractions) are taking to Nicollet Mall this weekend as a part of the Dakota Street Festival.

The festival, hosted by the Dakota Jazz Club, begins Saturday at noon on Nicollet Mall, between 10th and 12 streets.

The varied selection of artists include Davina & The Vagabonds, Tex Pistols, Longhorns, Patty Peterson, Kenneth Brian Band, Crankshaft, Sophia Shorai and more.

Other attractions feature fire dancers, Chicks on Sticks stilt walkers, beer from Summit and hot dogs & more food The Dog House.

The event runs until midnight.
