
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — There are three potential headaches awaiting motorists in the metro this weekend.
A section of Highway 62 — between Highway 100 and 35W — is closed in both directions for the weekend, as crews are demolishing the Penn Avenue Bridge. The closure will last until 5 Monday morning, and detours are posted.

The southbound lanes of I-35W will be closed between Highway 280 and I-94 in Minneapolis. Crews will be fixing drains, signs, lights and removing trees and vegetation from the roadway.
