Did you know that more than 45,000 Americans will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer this year? The five-year survival rate is just 6%, and we recently learned that pancreatic cancer is anticipated to move from the fourth to the second leading cause of cancer death in the U.S. by 2020.

That is why I’m asking you to join me at PurpleRideStride Twin Cities on Saturday, September 13!  It’s a fun 50-Mile, 25-Mile or 8-Mile bike ride or 5K timed run and untimed run/walk at Elm Creek Regional Park, Maple Grove.   Join Team Hines and you can join me in the 25-Mile bike ride.   You can also enjoy live entertainment, children’s activities, raffle, refreshments and more, all while raising awareness for pancreatic cancer.
