Missing 10-Year-Old Girl Found Safe

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A missing 10-year-old girl has been found safe, according to the Minneapolis Police.

Authorities say the girl, Heldanna Gurmu Solomon, went missing of her own volition from an activities center on the 2100 block of East Lake Street around 12:30 p.m.

She was found safe and sound around 2:45 p.m., shortly after police issued a release about her disappearance.

Police were concerned after learning the girl was from out of town and didn't know her way around the city.
