When speaking to reporters Wednesday evening, Chief Bryan Litsey said the community is not believed to be at risk. He said that incidents like this are rare, adding that this is the first suspicious death the department has worked all year.

Neighbors said that investigators had been in the area for a few days, asking questions.

“The cops came to our house a couple days ago, asking if we’d seen a guy. Apparently, he was supposed to be in Chicago and never made it,” said Dan Beitelshees, a neighbor.

He says police arrested a woman Wednesday at around 1 p.m.
