Police Investigating 4 Recent Group Muggings In Downtown Mpls.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police say a group of three to five black males have been targeting those walking alone – day or night – in downtown Minneapolis, and robbing them of their wallets, purses and cell phones.

Minneapolis police said four muggings have taken place between Aug. 12 and Aug. 19. The suspects are in their late teens or early 20s. The group targets lone individuals and some victims have been pushed or punched.

Police say to call 911 if you see anything suspicious.
