Best Friends Kickstart Northern Lifestyle Clothing Line

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Best friends Spencer Barrett and David Burke are trying to capture the "northern lifestyle" with a new Minnesota based clothing company, Great Lakes Apparel.

With a blue loon as their logo, the guys hope to take the lake living Minnesotans love to the masses.

The best part? A percentage of each purchase goes toward funding efforts to preserve out lakes and wilderness.

Barrett and Burke have also started a Kickstarter campaign to raise money to produce a signature polo and belt. They need to raise $20,000 by September 21.
