MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Hennepin County Grand Jury is hearing testimony in a police shooting case.

Twenty-two-year-old Terrance Franklin died last May after being shot several times in the basement of a home in Uptown.

Police say Franklin grabbed for an officer's gun during a struggle and was shot.

Two officers were also shot, though they survived.

Franklin's family says police are trying to cover their tracks for a badly botched confrontation.
