Twin Cities Rank Fair For Dangerous Drivers

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- As the weather starts to take a turn for the colder, it's assured snowflakes aren't that far off. And that, in turn, gives us cause to wonder if Twin Cities drivers are safe enough to handle the coming winter months.

Last month, Allstate announced the results of its annual "Best Drivers Report," and as it turns out, drivers in the Twin Cities rank somewhat better than average.

The list ranked St. Paul at 53rd best among the 200 biggest cities in the nation.

Minneapolis fared slightly worse, coming in with a 66th-place ranking.

Allstate says the best drivers in the country are to be found in Fort Collins, Colo.

The worst drivers are close to the heart of the nation's political scene. They're in Washington D.C.
