St. Cloud Man Arrested In November 2012 Stabbing

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities said Wednesday they've made an arrest in connection with a November 2012 stabbing that took place near downtown St. Cloud.

Police said Traid Lee Mason, 23 of St. Cloud, was taken into custody Tuesday in connection with the assault, which took place in the early-morning hours of Nov. 17, 2012. It happened at about 2:48 a.m. on the 1400 block of 6th Avenue South.

Authorities said an assault victim, a 26-year-old man from Sartell, was found shortly after the incident on the 500 block of 13th Street South. The victim appeared to have been stabbed with a sharp-edged weapon. After an investigation, Mason was found Tuesday at the location where the assault took place happened and was taken into custody.

Mason is currently in the Stearns County Jail on suspicion of second-degree assault.
