Man Falls From U of M Frat Balcony
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - An 18-year-old man is in the hospital after falling from a second floor balcony on the University of Minnesota's Frat Row.
The Minneapolis Fire Department was called to Phi Kappa Psi around 12:45 a.m. Saturday morning. Authorities say the man didn't appear to have any broken bones and was alert when he was taken to the hospital.
It is not known why he fell, or if drugs or alcohol were involved.
Two weeks ago, 19-year-old Stephanie Lehr died after falling from a 6th floor window at Yudof Resident Hall.
Police say she was trying to get onto a rooftop just outside of the window.
University Police say there was alcohol in the room, but it's not clear if Lehr had been drinking.
