Timberwolves Sign 2nd Round Pick Lorenzo Brown

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – With training camp a week away, the Minnesota Timberwolves announced Thursday they've signed second-round draft choice Lorenzo Brown.

The Timberwolves also addded Robbie Hummel and Othyus Jeffers to the team's training camp roster. The terms of Brown's contract were not released.

Brown is a 6 foot, 5 inch guard who the Timberwolves selected with the 52nd pick in this year's NBA Draft. He averaged more than eight points and nearly four rebounds per game for the Timberwolves during the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.

He average more than 11 points per game in three years at North Carollina State University and was also of three players there to record more than 500 career assists.

The Timberwolves are at 17 players for their training camp roster, and they'll head to Minnesota State University in Mankato starting Tuesday, Oct. 1.
