Twin Cities Film Fest Announces Award Finalists

ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. (AP) — The winners of the 2013 Twin Cities Film Fest will be announced at a closing night gala Saturday.

Festival organizers have announced 16 finalists for the slate of awards.

Finalists for the 2013 TCFF Awards include Alexander Payne's new movie, "Nebraska," the Alex Gibney documentary "The Armstrong Lie" and "August: Osage County," with a cast featuring Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts.

Finalists for the Indie Vision Award include "Delivery," ''Pollywogs," ''Wild Blue" and "Nothing Without You."

Best Documentary Award finalists include "The Armstrong Lie," ''Antarctica: A Year On Ice," ''Remote Area Medical" and "Tapia."

The 10-day festival is held at the ShowPlace ICON Theatre in St. Louis Park.
