Union Gospel Mission Radiothon
This is 830-WCCO's 11th year doing the annual Hunger Mission Radiothon to benefit the Union Gospel Mission.
The Radiothon will be held at the Mall of America Rotunda on Tuesday, Nov. 19 from 5:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. The purpose of the Radiothon is to feed and care for the hungry, homeless and unemployed in the area. In order to do that we are asking for WCCO Radio listeners to make a cash gift -- $1.96 will feed and care for one person this Thanksgiving season.
The goal for the day is to raise enough money to provide over 100,000 meals and care this Thanksgiving season. In dollars, that's $200,000.
