Kids Can Try Hockey For Free In Minn. Saturday

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Kids across Minnesota can see what hockey is all about at Try Hockey For Free Day on Saturday.

Seventy-three events are scheduled at rinks around the state. The events are aimed at welcoming boys and girls, ages 4 to 9, to come to a local rink and try youth hockey free of charge.

This is the third consecutive year that Minnesota Hockey has participated in USA Hockey's Try Hockey For Free Day. Last November, 43 Minnesota locations hosted at Try Hockey For Free event.

Equipment will be provided and no experience is required.

Try Hockey For Fee Day is part of Come Play Hockey Month, which gives children the opportunity to play hockey.
