MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A 63-year-old Richfield man is dead after being struck by a vehicle early Sunday evening, according to Richfield Police.
Police responded to the fatal crash at 6:07 p.m. at the intersection of 64th Street and Portland Avenue South. Authorities say a 25-year-old woman was traveling in a vehicle southbound on Portland Avenue from 64th Street in the right-hand lane when she hit two pedestrians crossing Portland.READ MORE: How Do U Of M-Developed Apple Varieties Get Their Names?

The driver stopped at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. The Minnesota State Patrol is assisting in the investigation, which is ongoing.
