Eau Claire Tattoo Artist Accused Of Recording Sex

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (AP) -- An Eau Claire tattoo shop owner is charged with a felony for allegedly secretly video recording a sexual encounter with a client.

The Leader-Telegram reports Jason Rogers, of Osseo, was charged last week with capturing an image of nudity without consent.

A 29-year-old woman told police she engaged in consensual sex with Rogers at least six times during a two-month process last spring of getting a large back tattoo. Their relationship ended afterward.

The complaint says Rogers' former girlfriend later contacted the woman and told her a video of them was on Rogers' laptop.

If convicted, the 39-year-old Rogers could be sentenced to up to 18 months in prison. Rogers is free on a $1,000 signature bond and returns to court Feb. 4. Rogers had no comment on Friday.
