MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Student artists are leading tours of a Gordon Parks photography exhibit in Minneapolis.

Visitors can join the student guides on tours of the photography exhibit, “A Choice of Weapons: A Living Legacy,” at Mill City Museum Commons.

The tours are free but available by reservation only. The tours run through June 6, 2014.
This year’s book for One Minneapolis One Read is Parks’ autobiography, “A Choice of Weapons.” The famed photographer was in his teens when he left Kansas to live with his sister in St. Paul.
